Drawn to animals from an early age, Mary started volunteering at a neighborhood cat rescue when she was in elementary school which quickly expanded to fostering any type of pet that may need a temporary place and some support before finding their forever home. Looking after those often neglected and abandoned felines and critters ignited a life long passion for providing care, comfort and compassion to pets and their people in times of need. When Mary graduated with honors from Georgian College's Veterinary Technician program in 2009 she received an additional notoriety award for her exemplary nursing skills. Mary treats every patient like her own as soon as they come through the doors, always going out of her way to give a little extra TLC, a new silly nickname, or snapping a candid photo to share with you while your pet is in our care.
