Debbie has been working with animals for 20 years and has been a veterinary assistant for 18 years. She has always been an animal lover and became interested in veterinary medicine after meeting compassionate veterinarians who helped her childhood pets. Debbie especially enjoys helping pets and their owners in their times of need. Debbie has worked in small animal, integrative/holistic, mixed practice, and emergency medicine.

She enjoys spending her time in nature with her pets. Debbie lives in Eastern Passage, where she grew up, with her spouse and two dogs, Kenny and Ruby, five cats, and two budgie birds.
