I'm Annika!   My passion for wild animals and conservation led me to attend the focus my studies specifically focused towards wildlife rehab. I spent my co-op at the Toronto Zoo working with snow leopards, camels and red pandas and graduated on to finish an internship in South Africa rewilding and studying the wild cheetah population. 

When I'm not working at the ER, my partner and I run a small animal farm sanctuary where we hope to educate on sustainability and animal welfare for the younger generations. I fell in love with emergency medicine as well as helping people through euthanasia and dealing with the difficult weight of pet loss grief.
