Dr. Abigail Martin

I am originally from Sackville, Nova Scotia, and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2021. Following graduation, I completed a rotating internship in Connecticut, followed by a specialty internship in cardiology at the Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital. I then returned to the Atlantic Veterinary College to complete a three-year cardiology  residency. I completed my residency this year and became a board-certified veterinary cardiologist with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM).

In my free time I love to go for hikes with my dog Jack. He is an 8-year-old mixed breed dog that I rescued while in vet school. In Jacks free time he loves playing with his toys and napping. I also love to spend my time curled up with my two cats reading a good book. Callie is a 9-year-old former barn cat and Stewart an 11-year-old rescue who loves treats.
