Emily graduated from the University of Guelph in 2020 with a double major in Biomedical Sciences and Animal Biology. She has always had an affinity towards animals and began working with horses at an early age.  This led to a career in small animal veterinary medicine, starting in 2013. Since then, she has worked in both general practice and emergency and has developed a strong inclination towards working in the ER. 

Emily loves everything about the outdoors, and when she's not at work she can be found hiking, climbing mountains, or tending to her jungle of houseplants. In her downtime, she enjoys snuggling with her rescue cat and dog and cracking open a good book.
