Emily graduated in 2012 from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. After graduating she moved to Calgary and spent 9 years in a busy small animal veterinary hospital. It finally felt like time to come back home to her east coast roots, and she landed back in a general practice before specialty hospitals made their way to Nova Scotia.

Internal medicine has been her happy place since 2024 and she has found passion with continuing to learn alongside her team. She enjoys the client communication with long term patients and helping with acutely sick patients in the ER. Internal medicine is the perfect mix of chronic and acute. Emily is RECOVER certified.

Outside of work she enjoys being outdoors, practicing yoga and spending time with friends and family. She lives just outside of the city with her husband, two small children, Crazy German Shorthaired Pointer Maple, rescue dog Chandler & old lady kitty Koko. She is busy but her heart is full!
