Dr. Karie hails from PEI and holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College, obtained after completing a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University. Her passion lies in emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery, through which she takes a straight-forward and compassionate approach. 

Outside of work she enjoys anything active, and endures being her cat Bernie's meager caretaker.
