Katie O'Hanley

Dr. Katie O'Hanley grew up in New Brunswick where her interest in veterinary medicine was sparked through her involvement with horses. Upon graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2016, she completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery in Calgary, and practiced as an equine veterinarian for 2 years before turning her career towards companion animal emergency medicine, where she has been ever since. Dr. O'Hanley loves surgery, being able to help people and their pets in times of stress, and takes pride in offering a spectrum of care to her clients and patients.

When she is not working, Dr. O'Hanley can be found exploring the province with her golden retriever, snowboarding, or at the barn riding her horse. She and her partner also love to travel the world as much as possible and aim to visit a new country on every trip.
