Natasha Walzthoni

Dr. Natasha Walzthoni, DVM, DACVR, is a board-certified veterinary radiologist originally from Newfoundland, Canada. She completed her residency training at Inland Empire Veterinary Imaging and has since developed a reputation for delivering clear, clinically grounded imaging support across a wide range of cases.

Dr. Walzthoni is experienced in radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy, with a particular interest in image-guided procedures and collaborative case management. She has a special passion for trauma imaging, where rapid, accurate interpretation can make a critical difference in patient care. Her approach blends strong pattern recognition with practical clinical reasoning, shaped in part by her earlier background in emergency medicine. She is known for her clear, efficient communication with referring veterinarians and specialists alike, and she takes pride in helping teams translate imaging findings into actionable plans.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Walzthoni is deeply committed to teaching and mentorship. She regularly works with residents, interns, and veterinary students and has presented to referring veterinarians on topics such as abdominal, thoracic, and cardiac VPOCUS as well as radiographic positioning. She values teamwork, curiosity, and believes the best imaging outcomes come from thoughtful collaboration.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, writing poetry, and spending time with her partner and two cats, Zoey and Boo-berry.
