Sarah has moved to Nova Scotia with her husband, two cats and labrador Maia. She graduated from the University of the West of Scotland with a BSc (HONS) in Applied Bioscience and Zoology in 2015. Then gained her Diploma for the Management of Zoo and Aquarium Animals in 2021.  Since 2010, Sarah volunteered/worked in a number of animal care environments from horse stables, country parks, small and large zoos and general vet practices throughout Scotland. Sarah is interested in all aspects of animal care but animal welfare and behaviour hold a special place in heart. 

When not working, Sarah spends time outdoors with her husband and pup, playing with her cats or board games with friends. On the odd occasion has her nose in a book too!
