Shannon graduated from Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture’s Veterinary Technology program in 2016. Shannon had had a love for animals from an early age and always knew she wanted a career working with animals. She originally thought her career would be in farm animal medicine, however, emergency medicine sparked her interest shortly after graduating. Shannon has been working in small animal emergency since 2017 and hasn’t looked back! She has a strong passion for critical care nursing, anesthesia, and an interest in transfusion medicine. 

On her days off Shannon enjoys coffee on the deck, hiking, and exploring new trails around the province.
