Tammy is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the veterinary industry, bringing a strong foundation in operations, finance, and leadership.

Throughout her career, she has focused on building effective systems, supporting high-performing teams, and navigating complex operational challenges. Her approach is centered on creating environments where people feel supported and empowered to do their best work, ultimately strengthening both team culture and patient care.

Originally from Alberta, Tammy is now relocating to Nova Scotia with her husband and their animals. She is looking forward to becoming part of the local community and contributing to the continued growth of Maritime Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Centre.

Outside of work, Tammy enjoys traveling, paddleboarding, crafting, and exploring new places with her husband and their dog Layla, a Beagle/Cavalier cross. She is also a Corvette enthusiast and shares her home with five cats.
