Dr. Aleksandra Milaszewska is originally from Poland, where she finished MSc degree in biology. She then went on to become a veterinarian graduating from Ross University, after which she moved to Canada and worked as an emergency veterinarian in Toronto before pursuing a 3-year residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at The Ontario Veterinary College. Her main interests include endocrinology, especially uncontrolled diabetes in dogs and cats as well as nephrology and hepatology. 

When Dr. Milaszewska is not working, you can find her playing tennis or hiking with her dog. She also plays the violin and loves to travel to remote places in the world.
