Dr. Anastasiya Missan obtained her Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University and then graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2022. She recently completed a one-year small animal rotating internship in St John’s Newfoundland. She grew up in Halifax and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Dr. Missan spent many hours at local vet clinics, rescues, and wildlife centres. Since completing her internship, Dr. Missan took some time to travel, but she is now enjoying being home and practicing in the community she grew up in. 

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Missan loves to hike and camp with her amazing dog, Maze. She also plays the viola in her free time!
