Danielle attended Dalhousie University in 2016 and graduated with a degree in Animal Health Technology. From an early age, she has loved animals and knew she wanted to be in a helping profession. Danielle was drawn to emergency medicine while studying in tech school and was fortunate to have the opportunity to start working in that area of veterinary medicine shortly after graduating.  When it comes to emergency and critical care Danielle loves that it challenges her to think quickly and critically. She is also RECOVER CPR and Rescuer certified.

Danielle has one dog named Otis and one dog that crossed the rainbow bridge, named Ace. She enjoys spending time with Otis and her partner Kriss, weightlifting at the gym, reading, and yoga.
