Kari

Kari graduated from Nova Scotia Agricultural College in 2006 majoring in Animal Science. She then went on to graduate from Olds College in Alberta to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2009. Kari was motivated to pursue veterinary medicine by her love of animals from a young age. After graduating, she worked briefly in general practice covering after hour emergencies. That's when Kari realized she wanted to pursue emergency medicine full time.

Kari is passionate about providing outstanding nursing care for hospitalized patients, creating a calm and comfortable experience for them.

She grew up and continues to live in Rural Nova Scotia with her husband and young son.  Kari currently has one ginger cat and a flock of backyard chickens. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family by playing sports together and being outside.  She also enjoys training, running, and reading.
