Keira went to school for Registered Veterinary Technology at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Saskatoon, where she graduated in 2018. She has always had a love for animals, and has had various pets over the years. She knew that she wanted to become a vet tech after she saw the care they provided to her own kitten who had suddenly became very sick and needed to be nursed back to health. 

While in her first year of school, she began working at the small animal clinic that had saved her cat and worked there until she moved to Nova Scotia at the end of 2023. Keira has a particular interest in nursing care and nutrition. Outside of work she likes to go on road trips, go to markets, watch movies, crochet, and spend time with her two cats Clyde and Nezuko.
